The seven steps of the procedure

  1. Get informed

Free information sessions at the Institut français du Cameroun and the online programme catalogue.

  2. Create and complete the file

On the Études en France platform, which is also used to communicate with Campus France and the institutions.

  3. First check and payment

Only compliant files receive a payment authorisation. The fees are paid by appointment at TLS Contact, within 72 hours of the authorisation. Keep the receipt until the visa application.

  4. Further checks

TLS Contact forwards your documents to Campus France. Corrections go only through the platform's messaging.

  5. Academic interview

Only files declared complete are scheduled. The interview checks the consistency between your background, your project and the programmes applied for.

  6. Final choice

If accepted, confirm your choice before 31/05/2027 and download the acceptance certificate, required for the visa.

  7. Visa appointment and submission

The appointment is allocated by Campus France, at a TLS centre in Yaoundé, Douala or Garoua. Only one visa appointment per student. The long-stay visa must be validated within three months of arrival in France.
